Project Overview

G&D Electrical Ltd was engaged by Suir Engineering to deliver a high-capacity electrical distribution installation in a Data Centre in Dublin. The works formed part of the electrical infrastructure package during the construction phase of the data centre, supporting the development of a mission-critical facility.

Scope of Work

Our scope of works included the installation and assembly of a 4000A Siemens busbar system, designed to provide reliable and efficient power distribution throughout the facility. Works completed included:

• Installation of 4000A Siemens busbar sections
• Supply and installation of junction units
• Installation of flat 90° bends and internal 90° bends to suit site routing requirements
• Secure fixing of purpose-designed busbar brackets
• Completion of all panel terminations and final connections

All installations were completed in accordance with project specifications, manufacturer guidelines, and data centre safety standards.

Delivery

The project was delivered safely and efficiently within the agreed programme. Working within a fast-paced construction environment required strong coordination with other trades and strict adherence to site safety procedures. G&D Electrical ensured the installation was completed to the highest standards, supporting the successful delivery of the data centre’s electrical infrastructure.
